The IFPO (French Institute of the Middle East), the SCAC (French Embassy) and the Samir Kassir Foundation organize a round table on the book "L'Orient-Express : chronique d'un magazine libanais des années 1990, Beyrouth, Cahiers de l’Ifpo n° 3, 2009". This book gathers the testimonies of the journalists and intellectuals who collaborated with Samir Kassir at the l’Orient-Express magazine, which still represents to this day a rare documentation on the various political, economic, social, cultural, and artistic aspects of Lebanon from 1995 to 1998.

With the participation of editorialists Chérif Majdalani, Jabbour Doueihy, Omar Boustany and Nada Chaoul. A conversation moderated by Médéa Azouri Habib.

With expected live interventions from editorialists Rasha Salti, Alexandre Medawar, Carmen Abou Jaoudeh, Houda Kassatly and Mazen Kerbaj.
