The female character of the play lost her eyesight as a child due to an accident. The play begins in a hospital ward on the day of the operation and shows the girl's contradictory and painful thoughts. The girl doubts whether she'll be able to see again tomorrow, or whether it's better to stay in her inner world, where she's been living for almost 20 years. During these years she has decorated her own world with pretty but strange colors, and now it's full of moving and dancing objects, attractive scents and voices. But the most important inhabitant of this world is the girl's doctor, with whom she's in love.

In the second act, the girl is in an apartment that the doctor has rented for their life together. Some time has obviously passed since the operation. Later, it becomes clear that the girl feels uncertain about this appointment: she's not ready to live with the doctor, since she lost her passion for him when she found her sight. The doctor lets her go, but he's not unhappy because he remembers his love, the one that lifted him above reality, that gave him wings to fly over the city.

Renowned artists like Gevorg Arakelian and Khachatur Yesaian contributed to its visually captivating performances. In 1976, Mania Aslanian introduced plays for adults, a tradition that continued. Since 1998, under the direction of Ruben Babaian, the theatre has produced numerous successful plays, winning international awards. It also houses a museum of Armenian puppet art and, since 2007, has served as a cultural hub, hosting diverse performances, festivals, and events across multiple artistic genres.
